A leading international banking group is establishing a new Dublin-based KYC onboarding team and is seeking an experienced KYC professional to help build and lead the function.
This is a hands-on team leadership position with two direct reports initially and scope for the team to grow. You will oversee the end-to-end onboarding of institutional clients, complex corporate structures and special purpose vehicles, while acting as a key contact for clients and senior stakeholders across the business.
The position offers considerably more than routine case management. You will have the opportunity to influence how a new team operates, establish effective workflows and controls, develop reporting and service standards, and create a strong foundation for future growth.
This role is suited to someone with strong corporate or institutional KYC experience, ideally gained within a bank or another environment onboarding complex legal entities.
You should be comfortable assessing layered ownership structures, identifying beneficial ownership and control, applying a risk-based approach to CDD and EDD, and coordinating cases involving several internal and external stakeholders.
Experience with SPVs, structured-finance entities, Section 110 vehicles, asset-finance structures or other complex corporate arrangements would be particularly relevant.
Previous aviation or aircraft-leasing exposure would be beneficial but is not required.
this is a corporate and institutional client onboarding position. Experience limited primarily to investor AML, transfer agency or individual investor due diligence is unlikely to provide the required level of corporate KYC exposure.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced KYC team leader, assistant manager or senior corporate KYC specialist who is ready to take broader ownership of a small team.
You will join at the beginning of a new function, with the opportunity to shape its processes, standards and culture while developing specialist expertise within a significant international banking business.
If you have strong corporate or institutional KYC experience involving SPVs and complex ownership structures, we would be very pleased to hear from you.
