Make-A-Wish Ireland is seeking a Corporate Partnerships Manager to drive sustainable fundraising growth and partnerships. You will work with the Director of Development, Corporate Partnerships Executive, and the fundraising team to deliver impactful collaborations and events across Ireland.

The role is permanent, hybrid with three days in Leopardstown, and requires 5+ years in corporate fundraising or similar, plus proficiency with Salesforce, Canva and PowerPoint, and a full driving licence.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ corporate fundraising, sales, or account management experience.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Ability to develop and pitch partnership proposals.
  • Experience in developing and executing fundraising/sales strategies.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Canva, PowerPoint, or similar softwares.
  • Full clean driving license and access to a car for travel to partner sites and events.
  • Strong communication (written, verbal, interpersonal) and administrative capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the corporate fundraising strategy with sustainable income sources.
  • Build a strong pipeline of new corporate partnership opportunities and manage negotiations.
  • Manage, retain and grow partnerships with medium-large corporate partners; travel across Ireland as needed.
  • Organise events with community and marketing teams and lead logistics and volunteer recruitment.
  • Collaborate with executives to create compelling partner content and ensure effective data management and reporting.

Position: Corporate Partnerships Manager

Reporting to: Director of Development

Type: Permanent Contract

Working Model: Hybrid, 3 days per week in our Leopardstown Office

Organisation Overview

Make-A-Wish Ireland grants the wishes of children aged between 3 and 17 years living with life-threatening medical conditions to bring hope, strength and joy when it’s needed most. Since 1992, Make-A-Wish Ireland has granted wishes for more than 3,600 brave children across the country, including a record 229 in 2025 alone.

With 2026 on track to be another record year for wishes granted, it is a great time to join the organisation and make a real difference.

The Role

The corporate fundraising function at Make-A-Wish Ireland has experienced an exciting level of growth in the past two years, and the new Corporate Partnerships Manager will play a critical role in continuing this trajectory. Working closely with the Director of Development, Corporate Partnerships Executive, and the wider fundraising team, you will help to build sustainable growth through innovative and impactful partnerships and initiatives, ultimately helping to make more life-changing wishes come true.

Key Responsibilities

As the Corporate Partnerships Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Strategy: Carrying out and continually developing the corporate fundraising strategy, with a key focus on developing sustainable income sources for the charity.
  • Business Development: Developing a strong pipeline of new corporate partnership opportunities. This process will include prospecting, outreaching, developing proposals, and managing negotiations to provide maximum impact for the organisation.
  • Account Management: Managing, retaining, and growing partnerships with a book of medium-large sized corporate partners. This will involve goal setting, partnership plan development, event organisation, staff presentations, cheque presentations, regular communications, and reporting. Travel to partners across Ireland will be required.
  • Events: Working closely with the community and marketing teams in organising events like the Croke Park Abseil, Wish Week, Walk for Wishes, and the Amgen Irish Open. This can involve being the event lead, logistical planning, promotion, and volunteer/fundraiser recruitment.
  • Team Management: Working with the Corporate Partnerships Executive to ensure they can conduct their job role to the best of their ability and achieve organisational targets.
  • Content: Working with the Corporate Fundraising Executive and Marketing Executive to create compelling corporate content, including videos, social media posts, and partner communication materials to enhance engagement and drive fundraising efforts within the corporate ecosystem.
  • Data Management: Ensuring proper data management, including CRM logging of organisations, efficient communication, and prompt acknowledgment of donor contributions i.e. call, letter, and email thank yous.
  • Reporting: Producing high-quality reports for campaigns and partnerships that include recommendations to inform and improve future fundraising.
  • Additional: Additional responsibilities may be assigned to you by the Director of Development over the course of the role.
Experience/Skills:

Your qualifications and skills should include:

  • 5+ years’ corporate fundraising, sales, or account management experience. Charity experience is preferable but not mandatory.
  • Track record of achieving or exceeding sales/fundraising targets.
  • Ability to develop and pitch enticing partnership proposals.
  • Experience in developing and executing fundraising/sales strategies.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Canva, PowerPoint, or similar softwares.
  • Full clean driving license and access to a car for travel to partner sites and events.
  • Strong communication (written, verbal, and interpersonal), organizational, and administrative capabilities.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, team-oriented, detail-oriented, and adaptable.
  • Comfortable working under pressure and against targets.
