Job summary

SolarWinds, a leading IT management software provider, seeks a Corporate Counsel in Cork, Ireland to support the commercial function across sales, GRC, product, and engineering teams.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years PQE in a top UK or Irish firm or fast-paced in-house setting, with expertise in contract law, privacy, and European legislative developments. The role focuses on drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and advising on GDPR and data security matters.

Qualifications

• 2+ years PQE in a top UK or Irish law firm and/or fast-paced in-house legal department.
• Strong background in contract law and commercial contract negotiations.
• Experience advising on privacy matters and GDPR/compliance.
• Knowledge of European legislative developments (e.g., GDPR, EU AI Act).

Responsibilities

• Draft, revise, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including software license and partner agreements.
• Advise on privacy matters and negotiate data processing addenda and security statements.
• Assist with ad-hoc queries from sales teams globally and help optimize the commercial function.
• Provide support on European legislative developments relevant to the business.
