Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland is seeking a General Foreperson to join our Civils project in Cork. You will lead on-site activities, coordinate subcontractors, and drive production while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as construction site foreman/foreperson on medium to large scale projects.
• Fluent English and eligible to work in Ireland.
• Strong time management and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement daily and weekly programmes and communicate details to subcontractors.
• Attend weekly management meetings with client construction team.
• Maintain the site diary and track manpower and activities.
• Manage day-to-day site operations and drive production to meet targets while upholding quality.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors to align with the works programme.
• Motivate labourers and subcontractors and provide clear leadership on site.
