Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Finishing Foreperson to manage the final finishing phase on projects in Ireland, coordinating subcontractors, driving quality, snagging and timely completion to client handover.

The role emphasizes safe, compliant site execution and close collaboration with site management and design teams on commercial, education, healthcare, residential and public sector projects.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering projects from grey box to practical completion
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and finishing trades
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day finishing activities on site
• Coordinate and supervise finishing trades and subcontractors
• Ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications
• Monitor progress against programme and proactively identify delays
• Drive completion of finishes in line with milestones
• Close out snagging and defects promptly
• Coordinate inspections with clients and authorities
• Ensure health, safety and environmental compliance
• Assist in commissioning, testing and handover activities
• Maintain progress records and workforce attendance
