Job summary

CDB Aviation seeks a Controller Manager to own finance for Irish platform entities, reporting to the VP & Team Lead, Controllers. You will lead technical accounting, reporting, and ad hoc projects, coordinating with auditors, tax, legal, and commercial teams.

Ideal candidate is a fully qualified accountant with aircraft leasing or related finance experience, strong Excel skills, and a proactive, ownership mindset.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA credentials.
• Post-qualification experience in aircraft leasing/aviation finance or related fields.
• Strong financial reporting, audit and technical accounting experience.
• Ability to manage multiple entities, deadlines and stakeholders.
• Excellent Excel and Microsoft Office skills; familiarity with finance systems.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key finance contact for assigned Irish platform entities with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage monthly and quarterly reporting in line with deadlines.
• Review and analyse financial information, including internal packs and performance analysis.
• Support commercial transactions and represent Controllers on deal teams for Irish aircraft.
• Prepare audit packs and support external audit process.
• Manage relationships with auditors, service providers, and internal teams across Finance, Tax, Legal, Treasury, and Commercial.
• Respond to finance queries and information requests from across the business.
• Contribute to improvements in finance processes, controls, and reporting quality.
• Assist with technical accounting analysis on new policies, structures or transactions.
