Job summary

Writech Limited, an established fire protection systems leader, is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee planning, resourcing, and progress reporting for Mullingar-based construction projects. You will liaise with engineering, quality, safety, manufacturing, finance and HR to ensure smooth handovers and project success.

The role demands strong organisation, proactive problem solving, and the ability to adapt to changing business needs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager across multiple projects.
• Degree or Diploma in Project Management or equivalent demonstrable experience.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with key business areas and customers.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while adhering to processes.
• Strong planning, organisation and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Forecast and allocate resources with project leads and site teams.
• Coordinate with Commercial, Design & Service from tender to commissioning for smooth handover.
• Serve as Operations contact and resolve project-related issues with the Projects team.
• Monitor and improve Quality processes across projects.
• Lead and track performance of all direct reports.
• Manage external subcontractors and monitor quality and costs.
• Onboard subcontractors/hires and negotiate terms and conditions.
• Schedule workloads to ensure programs and KPIs are met.
• Oversee contract programs and progress reporting in-house.
