Job summary

THE BLUE BARREL PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced contracts professional to manage all stages of project contracts from construction to hand-over. You will drive process improvements and actively review policies to support contract administration.

You will handle disputes and claims, engage with internal and external stakeholders, and apply strategic thinking and strong analytical skills to achieve timely resolutions.

Qualifications

  • Degree in the Built Environment or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in contract negotiation, administration and management.
  • Familiarity with PSSCOC; knowledge of SIA, REDAS and NEC advantageous.
  • High integrity, dependability with urgency and result orientation.

Job description

Responsibilities:
  • Provides contractual support to the project through all stages: construction, subcontracting, completion and hand-over.
  • Proactively engages in continuous improvement and review of existing processes, systems and policies that may support the project’s contract management and administration.
  • Manages contractual claims, disputes, settlements and resolution
  • Possesses interpersonal skills to manage internal and external stakeholders, thinks strategically and critically, exercising judgement after consideration for all aspects.
  • Possesses analytical and problem-solving skills.
Requirements:
  • Degree in the Built Environment or related fields.
  • Must be conversant and have in-depth knowledge of PSSCOC. Familiarity with SIA, REDAS, and NEC would be an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in contract negotiation, administration and management.
  • A high level of integrity, dependability with a strong sense of urgency and result oriented
