Job summary

Global Professional Consultants is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join a high-performing project team for a flagship Data Centre in the Netherlands. You will lead tendering, bid handling, and drive commercial performance while ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Contracts Manager to join a high-performing project team in the Netherlands. This role offers the opportunity to lead a high-profile Data Centre project.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a strong Health & Safety culture across all projects.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop existing client relationships.
• Manage the full tendering and bid process through to project commencement.
• Lead project teams to deliver key milestones while maintaining quality, timelines and profit margins.
• Oversee the commercial performance of projects and manage contractual risks.
• Build strong relationships with clients, design teams and external stakeholders.
• Work closely with senior management to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
• Foster a positive, inclusive team culture and support the development of project teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years’ experience in construction, including at least 5 years as a Project Manager.
• Third-level qualification in a relevant discipline is advantageous.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, BIM, programming and planning.
• Proven ability to lead teams and deliver projects successfully.
• Experience identifying and developing new business opportunities.
• Proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to manage challenging situations and ambiguity.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and a commercial mindset.
