Job summary

Spectrum Health is seeking an MSK Physiotherapist to join our AHP team on a contractor basis in Cork, Fermoy/Mitchesltown area. This is a fixed-term engagement of one to five months, with scope for an immediate start.

The successful candidate will manage a predominantly adult MSK caseload, delivered in person across one or more of our clinic sites. Responsibilities include independent assessment, diagnosis, development of treatment plans and provision of treatment, plus patient education and

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy (essential).
• CORU registration (essential).
• Chartered ISCP membership (essential).
• Professional Indemnity Insurance (essential).
• MSK private practice experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Work with adults with MSK conditions, mainly MSK-based.
• Independently assess, diagnose and plan treatment.
• Educate patients to prevent or improve conditions.
• Use app-based rehab to support goals.
• Maintain medical notes, reports and receipts.
• Liaise with other healthcare professionals.
• Meet with GPs and potential referrers.
• Carry out ad hoc duties as required.
