Job summary

CPL in Ireland is seeking a Buyer on a 6‑month contract to support a centralised Procurement Services Hub. You will process requests, raise POs, and govern supplier documentation while enabling low- to medium-complexity sourcing under supervision.

Responsibilities include supplier queries, data quality governance, and MI reporting to Sourcing/Category Managers. Prior 2+ years in procurement ops and Coupa/ERP familiarity are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Admin, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance or equivalent.
• 2+ years' experience in procurement operations or supplier coordination.
• Experience with Coupa or ERP procurement platforms.
• Strong attention to data accuracy and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Process procurement requests and prepare purchase orders.
• Maintain PO, supplier master data and contract records for audit-readiness.
• Support low-to-medium complexity sourcing events (RFQs, pricing requests).
• Act as a point of contact for suppliers on routine queries and confirmations.
• Ensure actions align with policy and regulatory expectations.
• Provide MI and reporting to Sourcing and Category Managers.
• Escalate discrepancies or fulfilment issues to the Sourcing Manager.
• Maintain catalogue content and approved supplier lists.
