Responsibilities

• Maintain understanding of key Derivatives issues from a client and investment manager perspective and provide leadership to involved partners.
• Liaise with clients, investment managers, and prospects; collaborate with Relationship Managers and internal departments.
• Ensure clear resolution of client escalations regarding derivatives procedures and strategic planning in servicing clients, prospects and managers.
• Serve as a subject-matter expert and mentor to junior staff; influence through expertise and guidance.
• Organize team work, set priorities, monitor activities, and ensure timely, accurate completion.

Major Duties :1. Maintain understanding of key Derivatives issues from a client and investment manager perspective as well as internal drivers. Provide leadership and guidance to partners involved in Derivative client servicing 2. Liaise with clients/investment managers/prospects. Partner with Relationship Managers and Internal departments 3. Ensure that clear resolution of client escalations are provided regarding derivatives-related procedures and strategic planning in servicing clients, prospects and investment managers 4. Carries out complex activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact 5. May have direct interaction with committees and/or Senior Management 6. Able to serve as a key subject matter expert and mentor to other more junior level employees 7. Technically sound in area of expertise and has broader knowledge of other areas 8. Delivers a work product that requires less revision 9. Organizes the work of the team, assigns tasks, sets short-term priorities, monitors all activities and ensures timely and accurate completion of the work 10. Conducts performance management and career development processes, and staffing and disciplinary actions Knowledge :Excellent oral and written communication skills Industry knowledge of Derivatives products Analytical and problem solving skills Skills in negotiation, leadership, accountability and relationship management Leadership and organizational skills are needed to prioritize assignments and provide feedback to staff Experience :A College or University degree and/or relevant work experience is required
