Job summary

Conack Construction, based in Dublin, is seeking an experienced Planner to support major construction projects. You will develop programmes, monitor progress, and coordinate with site teams to deliver projects on time.

The role offers exposure to large-scale, multidisciplinary projects and a collaborative team environment in a fast-growing Irish company.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Planner or Project Planning role within construction.
• Experience preparing and managing detailed construction programmes.
• Experience working on construction projects in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage subcontractor programmes and sequencing.
• Carry out site visits to verify project progress and programme performance.
• Produce weekly and biweekly progress reports.
• Support tender planning and pre-construction methodologies.
• Work closely with site teams, Contracts Managers, and senior management.

Join Conack, one of Ireland's fastest-growing construction companies, delivering award-winning projects across multiple are looking for an experienced Planner to support the delivery of major construction projects based in Dublin. This role offers the opportunity to work across high-profile projects, supporting project teams through programme development, progress monitoring, and construction planning to ensure successful project delivery.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and manage construction programmes and project schedules
• Monitor project progress against target programmes and critical paths
• Produce weekly and biweekly progress reports
• Carry out site visits to verify project progress and programme performance
• Develop detailed resourced programmes for project delivery
• Prepare and manage subcontractor programmes and sequencing
• Support tender planning and pre-construction methodologies
• Assist with EOT and compensation claim programmes
• Work closely with site teams, Contracts Managers, and senior management
• Help identify and implement recovery programmes where required
• Support planning for alternative construction methods including modular and precast systems

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in a Planner or Project Planning role within construction
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and project delivery
• Experience preparing and managing detailed construction programmes
• Good understanding of critical path analysis and reporting
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Experience working on construction projects in Ireland
• Knowledge of planning software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project is advantageous
