Job summary

Conack is seeking an experienced Planner to support major construction projects based in Dublin. The role covers programme development, progress monitoring and construction planning to ensure successful delivery.

You will develop detailed programmes, monitor against critical paths, and produce weekly progress reports while coordinating with site teams and senior management. Experience with Primavera P6 or MS Project is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Planner or Project Planning role within construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and project delivery.
• Experience preparing and managing detailed construction programmes.
• Good understanding of critical path analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage construction programmes and project schedules.
• Monitor progress against target programmes and critical paths.
• Produce weekly and biweekly progress reports.
• Carry out site visits to verify progress and programme performance.
• Develop detailed resourced programmes for project delivery.
• Prepare and manage subcontractor programmes and sequencing.
• Support tender planning and pre-construction methodologies.
• Assist with EOT and compensation claim programmes.
• Work closely with site teams, Contracts Managers, and senior management.
• Help identify and implement recovery programmes where required.
• Support planning for alternative construction methods including modular and precast systems.
