Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Ireland is seeking a Construction Manager to coordinate and oversee construction activities at project sites in Dublin. You will ensure safety, quality and timely delivery in line with project requirements and Hitachi Energy policies.

The role requires leadership of site teams, effective planning, schedule management, and strong communication with stakeholders. Fluent English essential; experience in industrial, infrastructure, or EPC projects is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Construction Manager or in a similar role within industrial, infrastructure or EPC projects.
• Solid understanding of construction processes, site coordination and resource planning.
• Experience leading teams and coordinating site-based personnel or subcontractors.
• Ability to work in a structured way, managing priorities and resolving site-related issues effectively.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily construction activities at site, ensuring compliance with the project quality plan and schedule.
• Plan and organize construction activities to optimize resources and meet milestones.
• Review drawings and specifications to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Monitor materials, equipment and manpower to align with the construction program.
• Ensure works follow health, safety and environmental requirements and company policies.
• Provide leadership to site teams and set clear goals to achieve results.
