Job summary

DARA PEOPLE LTD. on a major Dublin data centre project is seeking an experienced CSA Construction Manager / Client Representative to act as the eyes and ears of the client on site, overseeing Civils, Structural & Architectural delivery while not taking on contractor management responsibilities.

You will lead on programme oversight, quality checks, sequencing and delivery risk, ensuring clear visibility of progress, next steps and any blockers to successful delivery for the client.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Construction/CSA/Package management.
• Strong knowledge of civil, structural and architectural construction.
• Experience delivering large, technically complex construction projects.
• Data centre or mission-critical construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent the client across CSA construction activities.
• Monitor contractor performance against programme, quality, safety.
• Review short- and long-term construction programmes, look-aheads, sequencing and recovery plans.
• Challenge planned activities for feasibility and coordination.
• Identify constraints, dependencies and emerging delivery risks.
• Coordinate interfaces between CSA, MEP and commissioning.
• Participate in site inspections, quality walks and progress meetings.
• Provide reporting on progress, risks, constraints, quality concerns and decisions requiring client attention.
• Support commissioning readiness and project close-out.

€80k–€115k + major Dublin data centre project — a client-side CSA role for a Construction Manager who knows how to challenge contractors, spot delivery risk early and keep complex works moving.

You’ll be the eyes and ears of the client on site, providing independent oversight of Civils, Structural & Architectural delivery without stepping into the contractor’s responsibility for managing the works.

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced CSA Construction Manager / Client Representative to join the project delivery team on a major data centre scheme in Dublin.

You’ll oversee programme, quality, construction readiness, sequencing, interfaces and delivery risk — giving the client clear visibility of what is happening, what should happen next and what could prevent successful delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the client across CSA construction activities
• Monitor main contractor performance against programme, quality, safety and project requirements
• Review short- and long-term construction programmes, look-aheads, sequencing and recovery plans
• Challenge whether planned activities are achievable and properly coordinated
• Identify constraints, clashes, dependencies and emerging delivery risks early
• Coordinate interfaces between CSA, MEP and commissioning
• Participate in site inspections, quality walks, progress and coordination meetings
• Monitor construction quality against approved drawings, specifications and client requirements
• Track defects, snagging, RFIs, design queries, changes and technical decisions
• Monitor construction readiness and dependencies for upcoming activities
• Work closely with Project Management, Design, Commercial, H&S, Quality and Commissioning teams
• Provide concise reporting on progress, risks, constraints, quality concerns and decisions requiring client attention
• Support completion, commissioning readiness, handover and project close-out

Requirements

• Significant experience in Construction Management, CSA Management or Package Management
• Strong knowledge of civil, structural and architectural construction
• Experience delivering large, technically complex construction projects
• Strong understanding of construction programmes, sequencing, quality and contractor delivery
• Ability to objectively review contractor performance and identify emerging risks
• Confidence engaging with main contractors, consultants and senior client stakeholders
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, programmes and technical information
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach with the confidence to challenge constructively
• Data centre or mission-critical construction experience
• Client-side, consultancy or Owner’s Representative experience
• Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline
