Job summary

AuxiliaGroup Ltd is seeking an Estimator for a permanent position based in Co. Clare. You will manage enquiries from initial review through to quotation, interpreting construction drawings and specifications to prepare accurate, competitive cost estimates.

The role requires strong commercial awareness, attention to detail and the ability to coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Procurement and Project Delivery teams in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Salesforce is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in estimating within the construction or related industries.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience preparing quotations and evaluating tender enquiries.
• Strong commercial awareness with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience reviewing subcontract agreements and collateral warranties.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems; Salesforce is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming enquiries and tender opportunities.
• Interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Prepare accurate, competitive quotations and cost estimates.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing and lead times.
• Monitor tender submissions, deadlines and communications.
• Maintain project and quotation data in Salesforce and internal systems.
• Prepare customer quotations and related commercial documentation.
• Follow up quotations and maintain client relationships.
• Support project tracking and improvement of commercial processes.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Operations and Project Delivery teams.
