Job summary

STRIVE Search is representing a leading Irish project management and cost consultancy seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor for a hybrid Dublin role. You will prepare budgets, cost estimates, and cost plans, and negotiate contracts with contractors and suppliers.

You will liaise with project managers, architects, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery, and you will evaluate and approve payments to contractors and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in quantity surveying.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and managing project budgets, cost estimates, and cost plans.
• Managing and negotiating contracts with contractors and suppliers.
• Liaising with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Evaluating and approving payments to contractors and suppliers.
