Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group in Dublin is seeking a Conference and Banqueting Manager to lead the C&B team, coordinate meetings, conferences, banquets and weddings, and ensure cost-effective operations. Reporting to the General/Deputy Manager, you will forecast staffing, drive guest experience, and develop your team through SOPs and training, with opportunities across our Ireland portfolio.

Minimum 2–3 years in a management role.
Hotel experience in a 3/4-star property is desirable.
Proven ability to train, motivate and manage a team.
Experience overseeing large and small functions from start to finish.

Responsibilities

Manage the smooth operation, organization, and setup of meetings, conferences, banquets, weddings, and related events.
Lead, motivate, and develop a team by SOPs and company policies.
Forecast staffing needs and create rosters based on budget and business levels.
Maximise sales opportunities during planning and execution of events.
Display strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Delegate tasks, negotiate, and manage team members.
