Job summary

DOYLE CONCRETE is seeking a reliable Concrete Labourer for projects in the South East. You will assist with concrete work, including site preparation, pouring, and finishing, joining a construction team with careful attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

The role requires ability to perform heavy lifting, familiarity with hand and power tools, and compliance with health and safety regulations on site. Driving licence is advantageous; full training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with concrete is an advantage; training will be given.
• Proficient with hand and power tools used in construction.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely.
• Knowledge of on-site safety procedures and regulations.
• Good organisational skills and ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Full driving licence is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in site preparation for concrete pouring, formwork setup and reinforcement materials.
• Pour concrete according to project specifications.
• Spread and smooth concrete.
• Mould expansion joints and edges.
• Apply waterproofing and sealant to protect concrete work.
• Monitor materials as they cure to a durable finish.
• Operate hand tools, power tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Carry out heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to meet project demands.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.
