Job summary

BRIDGEMAN ECOSYSTEMS LIMITED is seeking an entry level mechanical roles engineer to support the design, fabrication and assembly of equipment for the recycling sector. You will work hands-on from design to assembly, often on site near the production process, applying CAD skills and technical drawings.

The position requires knowledge of CAD, reading drawings, and familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, welding and metal cutting processes, and a collaborative mindset to meet tight

Qualifications

• Experience with CAD in heavy engineering manufacturing.
• Ability to read, interpret and assemble using technical drawings.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Welding and metal cutting techniques; blasting experience helpful.
• Construct and assemble steel components in a heavy engineering line.
• On-site role near production processes; strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Involved in production and manufacturing of mechanical equipment from design to assembly.
• Provide 2D/3D CAD drawings for engineering projects.
• Read, interpret and assemble using fabrication drawings; work with welding and cutting processes.
• Support projects on site close to the production line; prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Demonstrate teamwork and effective communication; operate with initiative.

Job Description

This is a hands on role that requires the successful candidate to be fully involved in every stage of the production and manufacturing of mechanical equipment for the recycling sector. from design to assembly. A requirement of the role is a valid EU passport.

• Ideally candidates should have knowledge of computer aided design heavy engineering production processes
• The ideal candidate will be required at times to work in the production process and have the ability to read interpret and assemble using technical drawings.
• Research, design, maintain mechanical systems, applying knowledge of engineering and computing principles.
• Knowledge of Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems.
• Ability to and knowledge of welding blasting and metal cutting processes.
• Provide 2 and 3D CAD drawings for engineering projects.
• Strong attention to detail
• The nature of the role requires the candidate to work on site close to the production process
• Provide assistance on any projects which you are asked to be part of.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy with detail and excellent quality of work.
