Job summary

Camden Recruitment Partners is partnering with an international financial institution to recruit a Compliance Testing Manager for its Dublin-based Compliance function. The role leads independent second-line assurance activity, delivering risk-based testing and strengthening the organisation's regulatory controls.

You will prepare detailed testing reports, communicate findings to senior stakeholders and help develop testing methodologies, risk assessments and the wider Compliance Testing Plan.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Compliance Testing, Internal Audit or similar assurance role within financial services.
• Strong understanding of second-line compliance oversight, risk-based testing and control assessment.
• Knowledge of financial services regulation, particularly MiFIR, EMIR and SFTR, would be advantageous.
• Excellent analytical, report-writing and stakeholder management skills, with confidence to engage with senior management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver risk-based compliance testing across the business, assessing regulatory adherence and the effectiveness of internal controls.
• Identify control weaknesses, investigate compliance gaps and provide actionable recommendations to improve processes and mitigate risk.
• Prepare detailed testing reports and management information, communicating findings to senior stakeholders.
• Support the development of testing methodologies, risk assessments and the wider Compliance Testing Plan.
• Oversee remediation activity and conduct regulatory assurance reviews (MiFIR, EMIR, SFTR and regulatory reporting).

• Strong understanding of second-line compliance oversight, risk-based testing and control assessment.
• Knowledge of financial services regulation, particularly MiFIR, EMIR and SFTR, would be advantageous.
• Excellent analytical, report-writing and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage with senior management.
• Professional qualifications such as CIA, CISA, CPA or equivalent would be beneficial.
