Job summary

Killarney Credit Union is seeking a highly experienced Compliance & ICT Governance Manager to lead regulatory oversight and the development of robust governance frameworks. The role reports to the CEO with Board exposure, driving DORA readiness and ICT resilience across outsourced and in-house environments.

The successful candidate will bring advanced knowledge of Central Bank of Ireland requirements, strong stakeholder engagement skills and a proven track record in risk-based compliance

Qualifications

• Five years of senior compliance, risk, governance or regulatory experience.
• Strong knowledge of Central Bank of Ireland regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of DORA, outsourcing governance and third-party risk management.
• Experience advising senior management and Boards on regulatory matters.
• Excellent analytical, report-writing and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong project management capability and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Good understanding of ICT governance, technology risk and operational resilience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance the Credit Union's Compliance Framework.
• Lead an annual risk-based Compliance Monitoring Plan and report findings to the CEO.
• Monitor compliance with applicable legislation, regulations, guidance and regulatory requirements.
• Advise the Board, CEO and management team on regulatory developments and compliance obligations.
• Conduct compliance reviews, thematic assessments and remediations.
• Maintain a compliance universe and regulatory obligations register.
• Act as primary compliance contact with the Central Bank of Ireland.
• Coordinate regulatory submissions, attestations and supervisory engagements.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the Credit Union.
• Ensure compliance with key regulatory frameworks including the Consumer Protection Code and Fitness & Probity requirements.
• Lead and coordinate the Credit Union's DORA compliance programme and ICT resilience testing.
• Oversee outsourcing and third-party risk management, with registers of providers.
• Draft and maintain governance, compliance, outsourcing and ICT-related policies.
