Acorn Veterinary Clinic – Mallow is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Nurse for a full-time, permanent position in a busy small animal practice. You will join a friendly team and contribute to high-quality patient care, working 8:30am–6:00pm with a 1 in 3 Saturday rota and light on-call duties.

You’ll handle surgical nursing, inpatient care, client education, and diagnostics, while benefiting from supportive professional development within the IVC Evidensia network.

Qualifications

• Be registered with the Veterinary Council of Ireland (VCI).
• Demonstrate a commitment to high standards of patient care.
• Be able to work effectively within a supportive, team-focused environment.

Responsabilités

• Surgical nursing and anaesthesia monitoring.
• Inpatient care and hospitalisation management.
• Nurse consultations and client education.
• Diagnostic procedures and laboratory work.
• Medical nursing and treatment planning.
• Support the veterinary team across a varied caseload.
