Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking compassionate nursing assistants to support Registered Nurses in providing direct patient care on a designated unit. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor patients, and help create a safe, respectful environment for patients and families.

Day shift opportunities are available, with scheduled weekly hours around 36. The role includes performing delegated tasks, documenting vital signs, and coordinating with nursing staff to ensure smooth patient flow.

Qualifications

• High School or GED is required.
• Experience in basic nursing tasks and patient assistance is preferred.
• Proficiency with basic clinical documentation and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating, mobility).
• Support nursing staff and maintain patient environment and safety on the unit.
• Perform delegated nursing tasks and document observations and measurements.
