Job summary

CPL Group is seeking compassionate Healthcare Assistants to join a leading provider of nursing home care in Ireland. Roles are full-time, permanent, with day and night shifts and a guaranteed 36 hours per week.

The position requires EU citizenship and QQI Level 5 or equivalent, with opportunities for educational assistance and relocation support. You will deliver person-centred care, assist with mobility and daily activities, support residents with eating and hydration, and communicate

Qualifications

• EU citizenship is mandatory.
• QQI Level 5 or equivalent healthcare qualification.
• Experience in elderly care is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care according to residents' care plans.
• Understand residents' needs and provide companionship.
• Assist with mobility and personal hygiene, ensuring dignity.
• Support residents with eating, drinking, and achieving comfort.
• Participate in and help organise social activities.
• Maintain effective communication with families and colleagues.
