Job summary

The Irish Wheelchair Association (IWA) invites applications for Healthcare Assistants (Personal Assistants) to support members in Clontarf, Marino, Clarehall surrounding areas, covering weekdays and every second weekend. Roles available full-time and part-time (15/20/30, up to 39 hours) with hourly pay from €16.54 to €18.39 plus enhanced rates for early/late shifts and Sundays.

You will provide personal care, domestic and social support to enable independence, liaise with the Assisted Living

Qualifications

• QQI level 5 (Major Award) in Homecare Support or similar qualification in Social Care is essential.
• Full clean driving licence is essential.
• Kind and Caring attitude; ability to check in/out visits using your own smartphone.

Responsibilities

• Enable members to achieve maximum independence in daily living.
• Provide personal care, domestic assistance, social and educational support, travel and companionship.
• Liaise with home support staff and the Assisted Living Service Coordinator.
