Job summary

Care Network Ireland is recruiting Healthcare Assistants to join our facility in Co Sligo on full-time and part-time roles. You will support patients with daily living, work within multidisciplinary teams, and help maintain a clean, safe environment across hospital and community settings.

Essential requirements include QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support and 150 hours of care experience, plus up-to-date training in manual handling, health & safety, and HACCP.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to adapt to a range of shifts and patient needs.
• Commitment to person-centred care and maintaining dignity of patients.

Responsibilities

• Support patients with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Work closely with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and infection prevention.
• Assist with meal preparation and food service in line with HACCP guidelines.
• Safely transport patients, equipment, and documentation as required.
• Follow all health & safety, infection prevention, and organisational policies.
• Participate in mandatory training and ongoing professional development.
