You will support residents with personal care, daily living activities, and companionship as part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring dignity and comfort for residents.

The role requires compassionate care, good communication, and the ability to follow care plans and health and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Undertake hygiene and dress care functions for residents.
• Safe manual handling and transfer of residents within the nursing home.
• Deliver and feed residents.
• Return used trays and dishes to kitchen, leaving residents' rooms neat and tidy.
• Bed making and linen changes.
• Provide incontinence and toilet care to residents.
• Assist nurses with provision of psychological and social support as needed.
• Maintain dignity, comfort, safety and whereabouts of residents.
• Adhere to hygiene, health and safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as required.
