Job summary

SignaCare Killerig in County Carlow is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to provide companionship, personal support, meals and mobility assistance to our elderly residents in a premium home between Carlow and Tullow.

The role requires 1+ year(s) in elder care, QQI Level 5 or a relevant nursing/allied health degree, Garda clearance, good character references and fluent English. Right to work in Ireland is essential and we offer guaranteed contracted hours and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1+ years in elder care preferred but all are welcome to join a new career path.
• Qualification: QQI Level 5 in healthcare (completed/in process) OR a relevant Nursing/Allied Health Degree.
• Will pass Garda Clearance.
• Have Suitable Character References.
• Have Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, personal support, meals and mobility assistance to elderly residents.
• Work as part of a caregiving team to enhance residents' quality of life.
