Job summary

A leading health organisation is recruiting Social Care Assistants in Kildare to support individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities in both residential and day services. This role involves promoting person-centred care, assisting with daily activities, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Candidates must possess at least a QQI Level 5 qualification in Social Care and have a minimum of one year’s experience working with vulnerable adults. A clean driver’s licence and access to a vehicle are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum QQI Level 5 Major Award in Social Care or relevant qualification.
• At least 1 year’s experience working with vulnerable adults.
• Understanding of current policy within disability services.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with intellectual and/or physical disabilities.
• Promote person-centred approaches in line with best practice.
