Job summary

Trustus Senior Care in Dublin requires a compassionate driver to collect clients from the Day Centre and transport them to and from the Centre, with Meals-on-Wheels deliveries as needed.

You will help create a warm, friendly, caring environment for clients, stay observant to their needs, and maintain incident logs for the Manager. Eligibility is verified by the Department and Garda vetting may be required.

Qualifications

• Garda vetting may be required; applicants should be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.
• Provide suitable character references for consideration.
• Eligibility to participate is generally linked to those 21+ and meeting certain welfare criteria; eligibility will be verified by the Department.

Responsibilities

• Collect clients from the Day Centre and transport them to and from the Centre.
• Deliver Meals-on-Wheels as required.
• Create a warm, friendly, caring environment for clients.
• Be observant of clients' needs and attend to them.
• Maintain a written log of incidents, accidents, injuries, or complaints and file with the Manager.
• Ensure client safety during transport and during outings.
