Job summary

Qualifications

• Applicants must hold a Major QQI level 5 in healthcare or foreign equivalent (validated by QQI).
• Must have a driving licence and access to a car.
• Knowledge of HIQA standards and relevant legislation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate person-centered care tailored to each client's wishes and goals.
• Promote rights, dignity, privacy, and client choice.
• Encourage new interests and meaningful community roles for clients.
• Support overall wellbeing including health and personal care.
• Assist in teaching life skills such as cooking, budgeting, cleaning.
