Job summary

The Rehab Group in Ireland is seeking a Community Support Worker on a permanent contract for 39 hours per week at Manor West Hub, Tralee, Co Kerry. You will deliver individualized support to people with intellectual, physical and mental health challenges within community settings.

Key requirements include QQI Level 5 in Social Care, a full clean driving licence, and experience in supporting individuals. Knowledge of local resources is desirable, and the role offers a range of benefits and a

Minimum QQI Level 5 in Social Care or equivalent
Full clean driving licence
Experience in supporting individuals with intellectual, physical and mental health challenges
Knowledge and experience of local community resources is highly desirable

Responsibilities

Plan, develop, implement, monitor and review appropriate educational, recreational and occupational programs within the community
Ensure best practice in line with up-to-date research regarding Quality of Life improvements
Liaise with families, the multidisciplinary team and key community-based personnel in the pursuit of accessible community activities for service users
