Job summary

ALONE is seeking a Community Impact Coordinator to support the Community Impact Network across Ireland. The role involves field-based work traveling within Dublin, Louth, Meath, Cavan and Monaghan to recruit and support CIN members, coordinate training and events, and develop partnerships to improve outcomes for older people.

You will deliver workshops, manage communications and reporting, and maintain CRM records.

  • Ability to build trusted relationships with community groups and stakeholders.
  • Experience delivering engaging workshops and training sessions both online and in person.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, including public speaking and networking.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit and support CIN member organisations across Ireland.
  • Build relationships with members through engagement, training and benefits promotion.
  • Coordinate and deliver training sessions, workshops and community programmes online and in person.
  • Coordinate CIN seminar series to strengthen knowledge, collaboration and impact for older people in Ireland.
  • Develop partnerships with local services and groups to strengthen supports for older people.
  • Organise CIN networking events and member engagement activities.
  • Contribute to communications, KPI reporting and programme updates.
  • Maintain records and reporting through Salesforce and internal systems.
  • Support additional projects as required.

Contract: Full time – Permanent /Fixed Term

Location: HSE Dublin and North East – Dublin (North), Louth, Meath, Cavan and Monaghan

Working Hours: 35 Hours per week over 5 days.

Salary: €37,000

The Community Impact Network (CIN) is a national movement focused on strengthening how Ireland supports older people to live well, stay connected, and age with dignity in their communities. CIN brings together community, voluntary and statutory organisations to build partnerships, share best practice, and develop stronger, more connected services for older people. Members benefit from networking opportunities, training, technology initiatives, resources, and practical tools that support local impact and community engagement.

Community Impact Coordinators are central to this work — building relationships, supporting local collaboration, and helping drive meaningful change for older people across Ireland. This is a dynamic, field-based role suited to individuals passionate about community development and social impact.

Travel within the community is required. A full clean driver’s licence and access to a car are essential

Responsibilities
  • Recruit and support new and existing CIN member organisations across Ireland.
  • Build strong relationships with members through ongoing engagement, training, and promotion of network benefits.
  • Coordinate and deliver training sessions, workshops, and community programmes both online and in person
  • Coordinate CIN seminar series to strengthen member knowledge, collaboration, visibility, and community impact while improving supports and outcomes for older people across Ireland.
  • Develop partnerships with local services, agencies, and community groups to strengthen supports for older people.
  • Organise and promote CIN networking events and member engagement activities.
  • Contribute to member communications, newsletters, KPI reporting, and programme updates.
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting through Salesforce and internal systems.
  • Support additional projects and duties as required.
Essential skills & experience
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with community groups, statutory agencies, volunteers, and older people.
  • Experience delivering engaging workshops, presentations, and training sessions both online and in person.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking, networking, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to organise events, manage multiple activities, coordinate programmes, and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Understanding of the challenges facing older people, including loneliness, digital exclusion, ageing in place, and community supports.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, Zoom/Teams, Salesforce or CRM systems, and digital platforms for reporting and engagement.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records, track KPIs, prepare reports, and support evidence-based programme delivery.
  • Relevant qualification or experience in training, community development, social care, health promotion, adult education, or related fields.
