Job summary

Youth Work Ireland Galway is seeking a part-time Cleaner at Ballybane, Galway. This developmental role requires no prior experience; accredited training will be provided to support your career. You will help maintain the cleanliness of the main building, annex, and vehicle, supporting basic administration and supplies.

Hours are 19.5 per week with a Garda vetting process and references. You will work under the Senior Administrator and contribute to a safe, welcoming environment for service users.

Qualifications

• No previous cleaning experience required. Accredited training will be provided.
• Part-time role with 19.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of Youth Work Ireland Galway’s main buildings and annex.
• Clean offices, meeting rooms, and associated areas to ensure a safe, welcoming environment.
• Clean and disinfect toilet areas and replenish supplies such as soap and paper towels.
• Clean kitchen areas and manage waste and recycling as required.
• Assist with light administrative duties and basic supplies management.
