Job summary

CPL Healthcare is partnering with a community-based service in Kilkenny to appoint a Person in Charge who will lead a dedicated team across up to two designated centres, supporting up to five individuals. This role focuses on empowering residents and maintaining high-quality, person-centered care.

The successful candidate will hold a management qualification, have a full clean Irish driving licence, and registration with CORU where applicable.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ managerial experience in a health care role
• Proven experience with HIQA Standards and Certification
• Experience supervising and developing staff teams
• Experience supporting people with intellectual disabilities
• Full clean Irish driving licence and own transport
• Registration with CORU (where applicable)

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team within a community-based service
• Oversee no more than 2 designated centres with up to 5 people supported
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality care
• Champion person-centered approaches and empower individuals to lead lives to the fullest
• Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and regulatory requirements

Education

Level 7 Social Care / Applied Social Care Studies

Nursing qualification in Intellectual Disability / Psychiatric / General / Children’s
