Adare Manor is seeking a Commis Chef for The Gallery to support the delivery of exceptional dining experiences in a luxury resort, working alongside a talented team to assist in preparation, cooking and presentation while developing culinary skills.

This full-time role offers a solid foundation in a Michelin-level environment, with opportunities to learn from experienced chefs and progress within Ireland's leading luxury resort.

Qualifications

• Experience in a professional kitchen environment.
• A genuine passion for cooking and hospitality.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced chefs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and food safety practices.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes in line with departmental standards.
• Maintain consistency and attention to detail across all food preparation.
• Ensure all food is prepared and stored in accordance with food safety and HACCP requirements.
• Support senior chefs with daily mise en place and service preparation.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times.
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards.
• Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn and continuously develop culinary skills.
