Eirgen Pharma in Waterford, Ireland, is seeking a Commercial Supply Chain & Procurement Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain, procurement, planning, inventory and warehousing operations. The role focuses on driving performance and ensuring reliable supply to global markets.

The successful candidate will shape operational strategy, manage budgets and coach cross-functional teams within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment, reporting to the Site Leadership Team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business or related discipline.
• Experience leading end-to-end supply chain functions in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with budgets, inventory optimisation and supplier performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team across Supply Chain, Procurement and Warehousing.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, regulatory, cGMP, SOP and company standards.
• Oversee budgets, cost centres and resource allocation to support business objectives.
• Drive inventory optimisation, cost control and overall supply chain efficiency.
• Champion continuous improvement and strategic projects aligned with long-term goals.
• Act as a key member of the extended leadership team and collaborate cross-functionally.

About this Opportunity

As Commercial Supply Chain & Procurement Manager, you will lead the end-to-end supply chain function for Eirgen Pharma, overseeing procurement, planning, inventory management and warehousing operations. Reporting into the Site Leadership Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping operational strategy, driving performance, and ensuring the reliable supply of medicines to global markets.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Excellence:

• Lead a multidisciplinary team across Supply Chain, Procurement and Warehousing
• Play a key role within the site's extended leadership team
• Ensure full compliance with environmental, regulatory, cGMP, SOP, and company standards, adapting to new and evolving requirements
• Oversee team training and development to maintain high levels of capability, compliance, and performance
• Manage departmental budgets, cost centres, and resource allocation to support business objectives
• Drive inventory optimisation, cost control, and overall supply chain efficiency

Continuous Improvement & Strategy:

• Champion a culture of continuous improvement across supply chain operations, including cost reduction, forecasting accuracy, supplier performance, and process optimisation
• Lead initiatives in change management, in-sourcing, and procedural enhancements
• Deliver key strategic projects aligned with long-term business goals

Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Act as a key member of the extended leadership team, contributing to strategic planning and business performance
• Provide cross-functional support on major projects and organisational initiatives
• Establish and track departmental performance metrics to drive accountability and resultsLead, coach, and develop team members, fostering a high-performance and progressive culture

About you

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business or related discipline
• Demonstrated success leading end-to-end supply chain functions within a regulated manufacturing environment
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, inventory optimisation and supplier performance
• Proven experience developing high-performing teams and driving organisational change
• Strong working knowledge of SAP ERP systems and best-practice business processes
• Experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment desirable
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive collaboration across teams
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
• Proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and learning
• Adaptable and solutions-oriented, with a focus on delivering results
