Job summary

Barden | B Corp in Ireland is partnering with a leading organisation in the energy sector to recruit a commercial lawyer for a major strategic infrastructure project focused on Ireland's long-term energy security. The role offers variety across commercial, regulatory and project-related work and can be based in Dublin or Cork with a hybrid pattern of two days in the office.

The successful candidate will work with the senior Commercial Lawyer and project team, drafting and negotiating contracts,

Qualifications

• 2–4 years' PQE in commercial law or related field.
• Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts and project documentation.
• Strong commercial judgement and ability to work across a varied workload.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid Dublin/Cork role with two days onsite per week.

Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts and project documentation.
• Supporting procurement activity, including major construction-related procurement.
• Advising on regulatory, planning and governance matters.
• Coordinating external advisers and supporting dispute-related matters.
• Collaborating with engineering, finance, regulatory, commercial and project management teams.
