Job summary

Howden Ireland is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to manage policy renewals, drive client retention and provide tailored insurance solutions. You will identify new opportunities to expand the client base and work with internal teams to deliver exceptional service.

Responsibilities include overseeing renewals, reviewing terms, negotiating, and maintaining portfolios while meeting New Business/Renewal targets.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in a commercial insurance role.
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial insurance products.
• Proven track record in managing client portfolios and renewals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to foster loyalty.
• Oversee the renewal process, review terms, negotiate renewals and ensure timely completion.
• Evaluate clients' risk profiles and offer suitable insurance products and coverage options.
• Achieve New Business/Renewal targets and provide exceptional client service.
• Collaborate with internal teams on training, product development and efficiency improvements.
