Job summary

The Rotunda Hospital in Dublin invites applications for Clinical Nurse Manager II in Colposcopy on a fixed term full-time Specific Purpose Contract 37.5 hours per week. The role leads planning, coordination and delivery of services to ensure high standards of patient care in the Colposcopy unit.

You will work with the lead Consultant, Colposcopist, and nursing/admin staff to provide a sustainable clinical service.

Qualifications

• Be registered with the NMBI in the relevant division.
• Minimum 5 years post-registration experience, with at least 2 years in colposcopy or related area.
• Demonstrate clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to discharge the role.
• Demonstrate evidence of continuous professional development.
• Hold a healthcare-related primary degree or management qualification.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage activity and resources in the Colposcopy unit.
• Oversee day-to-day operation to ensure high standards of patient care.
• Collaborate with lead Consultant, nurse Colposcopist and nursing/admin staff.
• Provide leadership and teaching within the department.
