Job summary

Kepak Group, a leading food company with multiple sites in Ireland, is seeking a Warehouse Operative in Clonee. The role involves handling all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, dispatch, and stock control, in a cold environment.

You will work with forklift equipment and use MS Office daily, contributing to accurate stock records and efficient order picking. We value reliability, strong English communication, and a proactive safety mindset.

Qualifications

• Good English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Safety-focused mindset and adherence to PPE guidelines.
• Dependable with excellent timekeeping and reliability.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Efficient and able to perform manual tasks as required.
• Willing to learn, develop new skills and adapt to changing needs.
• Strong time-management skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Previous experience in warehouse order picking is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate and contribute to all aspects of the warehouse workflow with safety, accuracy and efficiency as priorities.
• Assist in inventory maintenance by receiving, storing and dispatching items promptly.
• Support storage area maintenance and organisation.
• Assist Stock Controller with stock records and stock rotation.
• Participate in scheduled and ad-hoc stocktakes as required.
• Adhere to company policies and PPE guidelines at all times.
• Collaborate with the Coldstore team to ensure smooth operational flow.
• Use MS Office tools (Word, Excel) as part of daily duties.
• Operate forklift for loading/unloading and pallet put-away.
