Job summary

A leading food production company in Ballybay is seeking a Forklift Operator to facilitate production processes in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a key player, you will operate forklifts, manage inventory, and ensure equipment maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a valid forklift certification and at least one year of operational experience. Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or production setting.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the job, including standing for extended periods of time and lifting heavy loads.

Responsibilities

  • Operating a forklift to load and unload goods and materials.
  • Transporting goods and materials to and from storage areas.
  • Supplying production lines with raw materials and ingredients.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records and completing necessary documentation.
  • Ensuring that all equipment and machinery is properly maintained and serviced.

As a Forklift Operator at Kepak Group, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the smooth and efficient running of our production processes. This is a hands‑on position that offers a dynamic and fast‑paced work environment, with opportunities for career advancement.

Working Hours: 35 hours with the possibility of overtime based on operational needs. Rotating 4-day week (Monday to Saturday) with rotating AM/PM weekly shift pattern.

AM Shift: 5:00 AM – 3:15 PM

PM Shift: 3:15 PM – 1:00 AM

Responsibilities
  • Operating a forklift to load and unload goods and materials
  • Transporting goods and materials to and from storage areas
  • Supplying production lines with raw materials and ingredients
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records and completing necessary documentation
  • Ensuring that all equipment and machinery is properly maintained and serviced
  • Following all relevant safety procedures and guidelines
  • Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
Qualifications
  • Valid forklift certification
  • At least 1 year of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or production setting
  • Excellent hand‑eye coordination and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle pressure
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the job, including standing for extended periods of time and lifting heavy loads.
