Job summary

Company Details Confidential in Ireland seeks an experienced CAD/CAM/CNC technician to set up and operate manufacturing software and machines. You will read complex engineering drawings, manage project documentation, and collaborate with a team to prioritise multiple projects.

Qualifications

• CAD/CAM proficiency with hands-on experience (SigmaNEST, ProNest, AlphaCAM or similar).
• CNC experience in setting up, programming, and operating CNC machinery (mills, lathes, routers or similar).
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills with ability to prioritise across multiple projects.
• Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently or in a team.
• Proficient in project documentation and administration, MS Office including Access.

Job Description

CAD/CAM proficiency: Hands-on experience with CAD/CAM software such as SigmaNEST, ProNest, AlphaCAM, or similar. CNC experience: Background in setting up, programming, and operating CNC machinery, including mills, lathes, routers, or similar equipment. Previous experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and technical documentation. Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively across multiple projects. Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Proficient in project documentation and administration. Proficient in Microsoft Office packages, including Microsoft Access. Working knowledge of AutoCAD would be advantageous.
