Job Title – CNC Operator

Job Location – Co. Galway

Salary – €35K - €40K

Responsibilities:

• Work with other departments in order to provide improvements and ideas in various areas.
• Operate and control CNC Machinery and other equipment and develop new products when required and to actively use lean manufacturing tools.
• Complete all relevant documentation that is required on a daily basis and make sure it is up to date.
• Be able to program based on workshop drawings.
• Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.
• Optimize material usage using nesting software.
• Undertake and develop machining processes, supporting engineers to deliver on demand project requirements.
• Follow all Health & Safety rules and regulations that are set by the company.

Essential Criteria:

• Have around 3 years’ experience in a similar role undertaking similar tasks.
• Experience in working a pod and rail CNC and also a flat table nesting CNC.
• CNC Programming experience preferred.
• Experience using nesting software, and AutoCAD preferred, but not essential
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively within a team.
• Positive with a proactive approach to work.
