Job summary

Lilly UK and Ireland is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to help build and automate CloudSec as a Service. You will design, test, and deploy automation while collaborating with engineers who build and maintain it, improving security controls across the organisation.

You will participate in SDLC governance, manage backlogs, and work with development teams to deliver value. A strong problem-solving mindset and growth willingness are essential.

Qualifications

• BSc in Computer Science or related IT field or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of relevant industry experience.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python).
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Some exposure to major CSPs (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Experience with version control and collaborative development practices (branching, PRs).

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and deploy automated CloudSec solutions.
• Maintain and backlog CloudSec service features and tooling.
• Collaborate with teams to implement new security controls.
• Document work and contribute to the CloudSec service roadmap.
