Job summary

Amazon Data Services Ireland Limited seeks a Logistics professional to manage day-to-day transportation operations for the AWS cloud infrastructure network in Ireland. You will collaborate with carriers and internal customers, analyze data, and publish performance metrics to drive improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
2+ years work experience in the logistics/transportation industry.
2+ years experience managing relationships with or working for transportation providers within Europe.
Experience with data analysis and Excel tooling.

Responsibilities

Coordinate day to day transportation operations to ensure shipments are managed efficiently with high quality service.
Collaborate with carriers (Logistics Service Providers) and internal customers.
Analyze data from databases using Excel or data management systems and perform reporting as needed.
Publish performance metrics to assist with business results.
Understand business impact of trends and take action based on data.
Identify and eliminate root causes of defects to improve efficiency in transportation operations.
Work with multiple stakeholder teams in Supply Chain to solve problems and implement standards.
Meet critical business needs within time constraints.
