Job summary

Real-time Recruitment Limited is seeking a Cloud Engineer / SRE to design, build, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, with a strong emphasis on reliability and security. The role includes running Kubernetes clusters, automating with Terraform, and delivering robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

You will own monitoring, incident response, and collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment practices and developer experience in a cloud-native environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated hands-on AWS experience with production workloads.
• Kubernetes production experience.
• Strong monitoring/observability capabilities.
• Experience with messaging queues like Kafka or similar.
• CI/CD tooling experience using GitHub Actions.

About the role

We’re looking for a Cloud Engineer / SRE to help build and run the infrastructure that keeps our platform fast, reliable, and secure. You’ll work with a modern cloud-native stack, automate everything you can, and have real influence over how we scale.

What you’ll do

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS
• Run and improve our Kubernetes environments
• Automate provisioning and configuration with Terraform
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions
• Own monitoring, alerting, and incident response to improve reliability and reduce toil
• Work with messaging and streaming platforms to support event-driven services
• Partner with engineering teams to improve deployment practices and developer experience

What you’ll bring

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS
• Production experience with Kubernetes
• Solid Infrastructure as Code skills with Terraform
• Experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions for CI/CD
• Experience with monitoring and observability tooling
• Experience with Kafka or another message queue (e.g. RabbitMQ, SQS)

Nice to have

• Argo CD and/or Helm
• Exposure to MCP (Model Context Protocol) or building with Claude / LLM tooling
