Job summary

Deutsche Börse Group is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to lead end-to-end DevOps activities across our platform in Ireland. The role emphasizes containerization, CI/CD, and cloud-native technologies like OpenShift, Argo CD, and Kubernetes.

You will manage Jenkins/Argo CD pipelines, automate builds and deployments, and ensure stable releases while collaborating with development, QA, and infrastructure teams. A strong security mindset and experience with IaC are essential.

Qualifications

• - Experience configuring and managing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and Argo CD.
• - Hands-on with Kubernetes and OpenShift platforms.
• - Containerization experience with Docker.
• - Proficient in Helm chart development.
• - Scripting skills for automation (Python, Bash).
• - Experience in production deployments and environment management.
• - Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
• - Understanding of security and DevSecOps practices.
• - Ability to work across multiple environments and collaborate with teams.
• - Knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP, Azure).
• - Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Ansible).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end DevOps activities across the platform.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Argo CD.
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Ensure stable production releases across environments.
• Deploy and manage containerized apps with Docker/OpenShift/Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain Helm charts for deployment.
• Monitor system health, performance, and availability.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with development, QA, infra, and business teams.
• Translate business needs into technical implementations.
• Drive DevOps best practices and security across pipelines.
